Default Table titles

I am working in Word 2007.
How do I add a title to a table?

Default Table titles

There are several approaches to this. A simple way is to add a row at the
top of the table, merging all of its cells (and clearing the top, left, and
right borders), and then just type in your table title.

If you want a numbered caption, use Insert Caption on the References tab.
Note that you can place the caption inside the extra row (mentioned above),
but you will have to insert it into the body of the document first.
