Default Comments display onscreen but don't print.

(Word 2007/Win XP) A co-worker is unable to print his document with the
comments showing in the right pane. When he prints the document, it does
shrink the text and apply the grey shadowing to the pane but the comments do
no show. If he sends the document to me to print, it prints correctly. I
have checked all his settings I can think of (Print document showing
mark-up/Review Pane w/Final showing mark-up) and it still doesn't work. Am I
missing some setting on his computer? Being in the legal field, having him
send me all his documents to print is quite time consuming!

Thank you in advance for your assistance,
CJ

Not sure, where do I check that? We are new to 2007 coming from 2003 and
things are not as user intuitive as they once were. :-(

Okay, found it. It's set the same as mine and displays onscreen the same as
mine (our comments show in pinkish purrple but set to "by author". This is
just the strangest thing. Formatting and comments show onscreen, they just
don't print even with the correct print options. But they print for me on
the same shared printer. Any other ideas? I thought you were on to
something there for a minute. :-)

Check all the settings in the Print Options to see if there's any
difference.

Default Comments display onscreen but don't print.

The only thing enabled in Word under the Print category is "Print in
Background" and "Scale Content for A4". Both our settings there are the same.
