In Word (specifically 2007) I have a style which is based on another. This
style has numbering which starts at 3. When I open it up in the Style manager.... i have been unable to change it so it start at 1. How can I set it back to 1? QB |

Modify the style, Numbering, Customize, Start at: change from 3 to 1.
Not sure exactly how 2007 names these options, hopefully this will point you to the right dialog. DeanH "Question Boy" wrote: In Word (specifically 2007) I have a style which is based on another. Styles [2007]
Right click on the paragraph style you want to change. Select Numbering. At the bottom of the Numbering Library dialog box, select Set Numbering Value. Set your value in the next dialog box that comes up. PamC "Question Boy" wrote: In Word (specifically 2007) I have a style which is based on another. This style has numbering which starts at 3.
