Too many data fields
Word 2000 is telling me I've got too many data fields in Record 1, 2, 3,
etc, when I try to merge these with a form letter. But I believe I can have up to 63 and I've only got 13, of which I'm using 10. Why have I apparently got too many? Rob Graham |

Too many data fields
Whatever you have in those 13 fields, Word sees more than 13 for those
records it reports in error. A common reason is a comma in a field being misinterpreted as a field end marker. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org robgraham wrote: Word 2000 is telling me I've got too many data fields in Record 1, 2, 3, etc, when I try to merge these with a form letter.
