Temporary files
My daughter spent hours writing a paper, but when she saved it, she was in
her e-mail account and it saved to a temp file. Now she cannot find it. Can she recover it? |

Temporary files
Just for clarification...
Was she typing her paper in Word 2007? ....or was she typing it as an email to send to her instructor? -- dcsloan "Joanb" wrote: My daughter spent hours writing a paper, but when she saved it, she was in her e-mail account and it saved to a temp file. Now she cannot find it. Can she recover it? |

Temporary files
You should never open Word attachments directly from e-mail - however it
*may* be possible to recover your changes. See http://www.gmayor.com/outlook_attachments.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Joanb wrote: My daughter spent hours writing a paper, but when she saved it, she was in her e-mail account and it saved to a temp file.
