Default Page Setup

When ever I try to change the Orientation from "Portrait" to "Landscape" I
get the following error message:
"Increasing right margin causes last column tobecometoo narrow in some
sections having unevenly spaced columns."
I am using the DEFAULT setting and there appears to be no way to prevent
this error message from appearing and preventing the change in Page Setup to
landscape.

Try this: In the Columns dialog box, choose the "One" option, (even if it
already appears to be selected). Click OK. Does that help?

If it does help, and you are having the same problem with new blank
documents, open the Normal template as a document (see
http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customizat...alTemplate.htm) and
repeat the procedure.

To open the Columns dialog box:

- Format | Columns (Word 97-2003).

- Page Layout tab | Columns | More Columns (Word 2007).

Thanks. This was an option that I didn't know existed.
