Merge Word with Excel File
My original word document has the following merge fileds.
«First» «Last» «Title» «Company» «Address1» «Address2» «City», «ST» «Zip» Dear «First», __________________________________________________ __________________ After I merge it with the Excel file, the merge fileds change like this. «First» «Last» «title» «Company» «Address1» «Adderss2» «Title», «Title» «Title» Dear «title»«first», ________________________________________ I havent been able to solve. Any suggestions are appreciated. Michael |

Merge Word with Excel File
If you press Alt+F9 in the mail merge main document to toggle on the display
of the field codes, what do you see? -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Merge Word with Excel File
The document field codes dont look like the ones that I started with. I will
correct the problem.
