2007 Track Changes Options
EKH: This is not quite a comment on the original question, but I'm getting
desperate. When I save and close the document I'm editing in the Review function, the changes are lost when I open the document again--except those I made in the find/replace mode. I tried to email my client portions of the edited file and non of the changes transferred. What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Buried deeply in options in Word 2007: Office Button | Word Options |Trust Center | Trust Center Settings | Privacy Options. Then look for heading "Document-specfic Settings". *Uncheck* box "Warn before printing ... tracked changes or comments". However, this might not be a good idea: if you ever send these files to others, it is easy to forget to 'accept all changes' before sending -- and then the recipient knows how you've marked up the prior version.
