Can I create a custom short cut to paste a specific phrase?
There are certain phrases I use repeatedly during the day. I'm wondering if I
can create a short cut to paste those phrases instead of retyping them everytime. For example Alt+R = Returning from abroad, Alt+L = Leaving to go abroad, etc. |

You can't assign shortcut keys to phrases directly; you can assign shortcut
keys to AutoText entries, but for this application perhaps AutoCorrect would be more appropriate. See these articles: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AutoText.htm http://word.mvps.org/faqs/customization/AutoCorrect.htm -- Suzanne S.
