Default how can I put the file names from a directory into a data base?

I want to create a data base using only the file namese in a directory. How
can I do that?

A database of filenames? Use the Printfolders utility (download from my web
site) to extract the names, then load the resulting document into Word add a
field name at the top of the list and convert text to table.
