If you still have an older version of Office (before 2003), you can reinstall the Office toolbar. The article at http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20040323.htm discusses a couple of shareware replacements. You can also construct your own, in Windows XP or later. Right-click the taskbar, choose Toolbars New Toolbar, and choose a name and a folder to store the shortcuts. Then copy shortcuts from the Start menu or the desktop into the new toolbar. When the taskbar isn't locked, you can drag the new toolbar out to float over the desktop, or drag it to an edge to dock it. Right-click it to get several options, such as AutoHide. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
