Im trying to create a document that has a text box or field that must be
completed before you can shut down the document.

Another way around it it to have an automatically progressing number in the
text box or field that progresses by 1 every time the document is opened.

Any ideas?

Hi, Many thanks for the response. I hope you forgive my ignorance but is it
possible you have a link to find something like this as I hvae checked a
couple of VBA site and to be honest Im not sure what to look for.
