We recently rolled out Office 2003 on our network. I have a user that is
attempting to open attachments in emails and both Word and Excel have frozen
up. When it freezes, I can't do anything to shut it down, not even End
Tasking it. I have to physically shut the PC down to make it stop. Any
thoughts on what we could be seeing? This is only affecting one user at this
time and I have reimaged her PC with no help.

Hi Anne

I will try this and see what it does. However, this a brand new Dell PC with
a fresh image on it. I don't think the user has had time to create most of
these problems. I am seeing quite a few posts here about Word freezing up in
different scenarios. I am wondering if this is another of those times.
