Word 2002 view two documents at the same time
Does anyone know how I can view and work on two documents
at the same time on a single screen? I thought this could be done with the documents side by side. If not, can it be done with one at the top of the screen and the other doc at the bottom? I would appreciate any help you could give to me. |

If the "Windows in task bar" box in the Tools Options View dialog is not checked, you can use Window Arrange All to place the documents top and bottom. If you want them side by side, you can drag the edges to do that, or use the macro in http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Custom...Vertically.htm If that check box is checked, you'll get each document in a complete Word window. Then you need to right-click the task bar and choose either Tile Vertically or Tile Horizontally. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org |

In Word 2003 (and possibly Word 2002 as well), open both documents and then,
in one of them, from the Window menu choose Compare Side by Side With... and choose your other document. -- Suzanne S.
