Paragraph format screwy / "Alignment:" grayed out ...
Suddenly yesterday, when I opened Word to create a document, the formatting
(it seems) paragraphs is different and screwy. When I type, the location of the word and characters shift back and forth (short jumps left/right). The left justify, center, right justify, justify, and related buttons on my toolbar are grayed out. In fact, when I go to "Format Paragraph Indents and Spacing" the "Alignment:" dropdown is grayed out (also "Don't add space between paragraphs of the same style" is gray, but I don't know if it's always been like that or not). I don't know if this is the case, but t seems that I'm stuck in some weird HTML editing mode. I didn't change any settings that I can remember and I can't find anything seemingly relevant under the "Tools AutoCorrect Options... [ANY TAB]" or "Tools Options... [ANY TAB]". I started using FireFox several weeks ago (I continue to use IE7 as well). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |
