Default Installation problem...

Hi,

I am trying to reinstall Microsoft Office 2003. 3 minutes in an error comes
up stating that File: YS561401.CAB cannot be found. What gives? I've
installed this numerous times and this is the first time it has happened. Any
help?

A fly spec on the CD, probably. Pull the thing out and gently clean the
shiny side with window cleaner or furniture polish and a soft cloth.

Don't use cheap paper tissues, they can scratch the CD and make your problem
worse :-)

Another question. What do you find the need to keep re-installing office
2003? Re-installation rarely fixes the problems of Word. See

With DVDs I've also had good results with a mild detergent and water, then
drying by patting with a soft lintless cloth.
