Default Word 2003 loses Alt Text Entries after creating a PDF with Accessibility Support

We are experiencing some strange results when converting Word 2003 documents to PDF with Accessibility Support using Acrobat Pro V9.0. These include:

1. Various heading levels not being recognized as headings in the resulting PDF. The documents are Tagged and the Tabbing Order is set in the PDF conversion.

2. Some Alt Text entries are removed from Images following the PDF creation process.

Any suggestions to prevent or treat these issues would be much appreciated.
