My problem is that the page number is not located in the header or footer, it
is in the body of the page. How do I address the restart when it is located here. Same way. You still do it from Format Page Number, which you can access
either from the Header and Footer toolbar or from Insert | Page Numbers: Format. -- Suzanne S. Suzanne...thank you, thank you, thank you!! I got it to work. I had trouble
getting it to locate in the body of the doc, so I did InsertPager Number and did a restart, then I dragged the code from the footer to the body! thanks again...this save me a great deal of time.
