When opening a document in Word, sometimes it takes a long time, sometimes
the top and bottom toolbars flash orange (with the file name) and teh
document cannot be edited. It often seems to be associated with a request for
a print once the documnet is opened

I'm having this problem too; it seems that it happens only when I
double-click to open an existing document. If I open it using File Open it
will open and let me edit it. I'm also getting out of resources messages
sometimes when I try to use Word even though it's the only program I have
open and I have 512MB of RAM.
