Default help--last bullet of resume on first page moves to its own page

i'm using Word 2003. my resume appears to be formatted correctly. i saved it
in print layout and each page looks fine. however, when i send my resume to
others and they print it out, the last bullet on page 1 prints on a
completely separate page by itself. i noticed in uploading my resume to a
website it gave me the option to view it and the same thing happened. i don't
get the same view in word and i don't know how to fix it.

why would the print layout show me a different view than what other people
are seeing?

how can this be fixed?

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm. In this case,
format the next-to-last bullet point as "Keep with next" so there will at
least be two on the second page, or reduce your top and bottom margins
slightly.

Another option, if you need to keep your resume to one page:

Go into Print Preview (not Print Layout view; the actual Print Preview) and
click on the Shrink to Fit button. It'll shrink everything very slightly so
that your whole resume will fit on one page.
