Default Merging 2 Records On The Same Page

I am trying to place two different record details on to one mail merge page
in Word. When I currently do this, the same information appears twice on the
same page.

I am using tables and so half of the page is for the details of record 1 and
the second half of the page is for record 2.

How do I get it so as I can have 2 records on the same merge page?

Insert a NEXT RECORD field at the very beginning of the right table cell.

Greetings
