Default Final View (without edits and comments)...
Hello,
I hope someone can tell me how to set my documents to open in 'Final' view. All my documents currently open in 'Final Showing Markup' view. This freaks my people out and I think I can better ease them into using the document reviewing tools if the documents open by default in 'Final' view... help! Thanks in Advance! Raymond |

Default Final View (without edits and comments)...
If the setting €śMake hidden markup visible when opening or saving€ť in Tools
Options Security tab is turned on (which it is by default), any tracked changes found in a document will be shown when you open the document (€śFinal Showing Markup€ť view). To change this, each user must turn off that setting. However, if users turn off the setting, they risk distributing documents with tracked changes without being aware of it. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Raymond" wrote: Hello, I hope someone can tell me how to set my documents to open in 'Final' view. Thanks Lene,
That's very helpful information that I was not aware of. It sure would be great however, if I had a way to save the default apearance of reviewed documents upon opening... THanks again, Raymond "Lene Fredborg" wrote in message ...
