Why does my textbox float to the top of the page?
Hi ?B?Q0xN?=,
Occasionally a textbox floats to the top of the page and I can't get it down to the right position. Why is this and what can be done about it? Intractable graphics is often a sign that the document's internal structure has been damaged. Not yet to a degree that Word can't open the document, but enough so that Word has trouble managing the graphics. Usually, you can get it to accept a position by going over the "Advanced" options in the Format dialog box (via the "Layout" tab). It sometimes helps to copy everything except the last paragraph mark into a new document.
