Default Pasting Links from Charts in Excel to Word results in duplicates H

Hi,

I'm sending this request on behalf of one of our computer users who is in a
bind with budget documents.

When this user pastes a link from an excel chart into Word it produces
multiple copies of the chart - not always but sometimes. Sometimes one extra
copy, sometimes two or more.

I couldn't find a similar post. Any suggestions?? Help! Thanks in advance
for your assistance.

Hi ?B?Q2l0eUdpcmw=?=,

Never heard of anything like this before, and I've been supporting Word in
public groups for more than ten years...

Which version of Office are we considering?

Any chance the paste command is being given more than once? I use Ctrl+V, for
example, and if I'd press the V key more than once. Or if there were a problem
with the keyboard, I might get something like this.

Default Pasting Links from Charts in Excel to Word results in duplicat

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for your reply. It does not seem to be the case that the "v"
button is being hit more than once. The user is using the commands through
the menus - as in insert paste link and then gets 2 or 3 copies of the excel
chart. Any other suggestions??
