Multiple indexes
Hi
By way of background, Im using Word 03 and have a large document with 8 seperate indexes in it that Im having problems with. 1) For some reason some of my indexes lines appear like this: Plants...........................57 Tree........................57 Shrub 58 Flower.....................88 I can get the 58 to right hand justify manually but dont understand why its randomly do it in the first place. 2) I want to do a page range eg Plants.............57 - 88. I cant find any information on how to bookmark a range of pages and get them to appear in the particular index that I want. Is this possible? 3) Is there anyway to do an index that looks like this: Plant Division.......................................... .........50 Manager Smith, Bob..............50 Assistant Manager Jones, Mary.............50 Planters: Black, Karl...............51 Yellow, Sara...........51 Pink, Peter..............51 Animal Divison........................................... ......55 Manager........................Orange, Kare..........56etc kind regards Tracey |

Multiple indexes
For (1), make sure that the Index 2 style has a tab stop in the appropriate
place (and no others). For (2), you need to bookmark the page range and then include the bookmark in the XE field (there's a place for this in the Mark Index Entry dialog). As for (3), I don't believe there's any way to do that with an index. -- Suzanne S.
