Default autocorrects not saved

I run win XP and in Office 2003 Word the same ±20 autocorrects disapear every
time I close word. If I create a new Normal.dot I lose all of them and my
autotexts which are quite extensive

Default autocorrects not saved

This type of behavior is typically caused by add-ins or other software that
prevent Word form saving the changes. If you search the forum you'll find a
number of known culprits. If you have any of them installed, yank 'em out

Default autocorrects not saved

As Bob says, this is often caused by an add-in. The most common culprit is
Adobe Acrobat 7; if you have that installed, see
http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adob...at_toolbar.htm. Regardless of the
cause, you can force a save of Normal.dot using File | Save All as explained
in Graham's article.
