Can I import information from a form in MS Word into Excel?
I created a form in MS Word. I need to gather the data after I receive the
forms, and I wondered if I could create a spreadsheet in Excel that could automatically take the information and add it to the spreadsheet without me having to retype everything. Is this possible? |

Yes, though indirectly. Word will allow you to save forms as text/csv. Excel
can then open up the csv files. Goto Tools/Options/Save/Save data only for forms/OK. Then goto File/Save Copy As/"your file name". In the Save as type box, choose Plain Text. You can then open this comma-delimited file up and convert it itno Excel (choose comma as your delimiter). Hope it helps! "nanner130" wrote: I created a form in MS Word.
