You need a formatting switch on the merge field - see
http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm In this instance the switch you want is \# ",0.00" (remove the comma if you don't want the thousands separator) -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Laura wrote: I am merging an excel spreadsheet with a letter in word. The number column in excel is coming across to word as 1621.33335899999 instead of 1621.34. I have tried reformatting the column in excel, to no avail. Any Suggestions? |
