Default How do I convert a bitmap image to a word doc?

I need to convert a bitmap image into a word doc to keep from retyping it.
It is much too long.

You need to get some OCR software like textbridge or OmniPage.

If you have some optical character recognition (OCR) software, use that
program to open the bitmap and run the recognizer. You may be able to get
the output as a formatted Word document or you may have to settle for just
the text.

If you don't have a separate OCR program -- which often comes bundled with a
scanner -- see if you have Microsoft Office Document Imaging installed.
