Default How do I restore the DEFAULT file location for clipart in Word?

I inadvertantly changed the file location setting for clipart files. I know
how to change it from one location to another, but what I'd really like to do
is change it back to the default setting so that it looks in the current
folder for clipart images. Short of changing the file location everytime I
am working in a new folder, do you know how to do this?

There is a second, unrelated problem, if anyone has an answer. When I open
a new document, the screen doesn't show the header and footer. They're there
if I print them, but they're not visible on the screen. I have to manually
view them before they will show up. I don't know how I managed to make that
change, but I'd really like to change it back.

Hi We B,

To restore the true default, you have to edit the registry to remove the
entry that was created by Word. If you're comfortable working in
regedit.exe, go to the key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\versi on\Word\Options

where version is 9.0 for Word 2000, 10.0 for Word 2002, or 11.0 for Word
2003. Delete the value PICTURE-PATH from the right-hand pane. Then restart
Word.

The header/footer issue is that you need to check "White space between
pages" in Tools Options View. See
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/wordfaqs/WhiteSpace.htm.
