Default Why does printed doc differ from Print Layout View?

I am proofing my document in Print Layout View but when I print the
paragraphs are wrapping differently, page breaks are at different locations.
Also, one sentence's text is printed on page 3 then part is repeated at the
top of page 4 rather than being a continguous sentence (even when the doc is
printed in its entirety). Help!

Print Layout view is never entirely WYSIWYG, especially if you have
nonprinting characters and Hidden text displayed, but sometimes extreme
example of this sort indicate a damaged document. See
