Default enter data in multiple auto text locations by typing once?

trying to figure out how to create a field in word that will allow me to type
something once and have it appear at several locations thoughout the
document. I.e. I want to type a letter with the person's name in the address
line and have it also show up somehere in the text of the letter and or on
another page with a price quote. Any suggestions? I know how to do text
form fields.
