lose formatting
When I am making a paragraph body text style, if there is text in the
paragraph that is bold and/or italics, I sometimes lose the bold and/or italics. I can't figure out why this only happens sometimes (so I avoid it). If I put the cursor at the beginning of the text or select the whole paragraph seems to make no difference. Help? |

lose formatting
The general rule is that when you apply a style, the Default Paragraph Font
of the style is applied. If there is direct font formatting in the paragraph to which the style is applied, it will be retained if less than half the text is directly formatted (or if the formatting is applied by a character style); if more than half of the paragraph has been made bold, italic, etc., then the direct formatting is removed. -- Suzanne S.
