Change case in headings
I am trying to change my heading titles for my 2nd level headings to all
caps. I have gone to the font dialog box and checked the box "all caps" for that level heading but the titles still appear in upper/lower case. Do I need to do something else? Appreciate any help. -- Stella Rivera |

Change case in headings
After modifying the heading style, try selecting headings (or the
whole document) and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar (which removes any direct font formatting). Then update the TOC. Does that fix the problem? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Stella Rivera" wrote in message ... I am trying to change my heading titles for my 2nd level headings to all caps. Then update the TOC.
Correction: You should also update the TOC (if there is one). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Stefan Blom" wrote in message ... Unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. Thanks for the suggestion. I
certainly welcome any more ideas or suggestions. -- Stella Rivera "Stefan Blom" wrote: After modifying the heading style, try selecting headings (or the whole document) and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar (which removes any direct font formatting). Change case in headings
I figured it out. I was trying to modify the heading case through the font
dialog box in outline numbering. Apparently it can't be done that way. So I clicked on Styles and Formatting and modified it there---it worked! -- Stella Rivera "Stefan Blom" wrote: After modifying the heading style, try selecting headings (or the whole document) and pressing Ctrl+SpaceBar (which removes any direct font formatting). Change case in headings
As you've noticed, the Font dialog box accessed via the Customize
Outline Numbered List dialog box affects only the outline number (and text included with the number). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Stella Rivera" wrote in message ... I figured it out.
