Default Footnote problems

hi
my document has many footnote reference and footnote waste my page. becase
they are in 1 column . I want divide my footnotes in 2 or 3 column. How can i
do it?

Default Footnote problems

If your text is in two or three columns, the footnotes will be as well.
Otherwise, there is no practical way to achieve this. You can simulate
columns by using tabs, but Word will still allow just as much space for the
footnotes as if they were stacked.
