Default image all way across the top and bottom of doc

I have an image that I wouldlike to place across the top and bottom of each
page - I have tried the Header footer but it will not go all the way across.
It stops where the page text is formated leaving wide margins which ais OK
for the text but not this image. Can I change this or do a better way?

Thanks
Mike

You can set negative left and right indents for the paragraph in the Header
and Footer, BUT, your printer will almost surely prevent the image from
going from one edge of the page to the other as most printers have an
"unprintable area" on each edge of the document

Hope this helps.

Thanks Doug, I cannot see where to change this value- the word 2003. I have
gone into the page setup for header footer but it cannot go below 0-zero.

Any more assistance?

Change the layout property of the image to anything suitable, other than
'in-line', and drag the edges of the image to the edge of the 'paper'.

You set margins in the Page Setup dialog; that's not what you want. You set
indents in the Paragraph dialog. If you have, say, 1" left and right margins
in the header paragraph, then apply -1" (negative value) right and left
indents. This will allow the header content to span the page.
