Default What makes the curser go from standard blink to double time blink

Working on a long contract document, making changes, the curser suddenly
starts blinking very fast. What causes this. How do I stop it?

You might try going to Start / Settings / Control Panel / Keyboard / Speed.
There you will find Cursor Blink Rate - check to see where the indicator is
set. You can reset the indicator to make it blink slower or faster - then
click on Apply, then OK.
