Default Permission error when saving document to network location

Hello community,

One of our clients is running Windows Vista Business / Office 2007, working
on a Word document on his personal drive (H. Works fine throughout the day,
both opening and saving the same document, however at seemingly unrelated
intevals (sometimes a few hours apart) Word comes up with the error:

"Permission to the document you are attempting to replace is currently
restricted. If you want to save this file, please use another file name."

If he saves to the same location under a different name, it works fine. He
can also go back to the original document and open/save it fine later on in
the day.

The user has full permission to the drive/folder/file, and is the only one
on the network with access to the file (aside from the usual admin groups).

Do you know what could be causing this problem, and a way around this (aside
from saving as a different filename every few hours).

Many thanks,

Steve Copley
