Default values for Split Cells dialogue box
I use the Split Cells feature daily. Currently the dialogue box has static
values of 2 and 1 respectfully for "Number of Columns" and "Number of Rows". This tool could be enhanced significantly if a means were provided that would allow the default values to populate either based on the last set of values the user entered, or if the user could set their own defaults. The former would be more helpful for me. -- kbmcdowell ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. For the former, if you do all your cell splitting immediately one after the other, you can use CTRL-Y to repeat the exact same type of cell-splitting to a new selection. CTRL-Y repeats the last action that you did. Of course, if you do something else in-between each cell splitting, it will not work. |

Note that F4 performs the same action as Ctrl+Y.
