Default using pdf format

I just downloaded the plug in for pdf off of the website at microsoft word
and am unable to use it. In other words it is not displayed when I go to
save or publish a file. I have adobe so that shouldn't be the problem.
Please advise.

It should show up when you click Office button - and hover over Save As (or
click the little triangle to the right of Save As). Also, in the Save As
dialog, PDF should be listed in the Save as type: options.
