Compare portions of text
Word 2003
Hello Gurus: Is there a process or feature available within Word 2003 whereby a portion, i.e., a sentence or a paragraph of text in one document can be compared (for differences) against a portion of text within another document? This is in lieu of wanting to compare two entire documents against one another using the *Compare and Merge Documents* feature. Thanks in advance for any responses €“ Rod |

Compare portions of text
You would still use Compare and Merge documents, either with the two
original documents (just ignoring the differences in the irrelevant portions) or using two new documents into which you have pasted the relevant portions of the two original documents. -- Suzanne S. Thanks so much Suzanne. I knew that I would be able to count on one of y'all
for the answer - as always. Much appreciation. "Suzanne S.
