How change a check box to a tick from the standard cross in word
You, and a number of other people. There is no way to get a tick instead of
an X in a formfield checkbox. However, there are a number of ways to create and use clickable checkboxes in documents / templates. Some require protected or locked forms, others do not. Some use symbols that include a tick rather than an X. Take a look at the Checkbox template available at http://www.addbalance.com/word/downl...#CheckboxAddIn for an exploration of these. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome! --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- --------- This message is posted to a newsgroup.
