How do I write a chemical formula, such as H20
Select the 2 and apply subscript formatting to it. The shortcut key is

wrote in message ... so that the "2" is below the line? Formatfontsubscript (Subscript is in the "Effects" section on the Font dialog box....). (Actually this DOESN'T put the "2" below the line, it puts it 1/2 way down, but thats what you want I think....) Rob |
