Can I get a background gradient NOT tiled
I thought that I was going to get one "starburst" effect as a background, but
it ended up being just a bunch of tiles with the starbursts in them. They basically eliminated my text. Any way around this or do I just have to buy paper with the background that I want? |

Version of Word? How are you creating the starburst effect? If
the document appears correctly in Print Layout view, but prints incorrectly, then try turning off printing spooling and/or advanced text services in Start | Control Panel | Printers | right-click on your printer | Properties.
