Default Word 2003 updgrade issues

I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. I love some of the new
features, but others are very aggravating.

If you can help, please reply.

1. When viewing text, letters are displayed in a color that seems to be one
shade grayer than black, or maybe the lines of the characters are thinner
than what was used with Office 2000. In any case, I am having a difficult
time reading them compared to Word 2000. Is there any way to fix this?

2. When editing a large document, every character I type makes the entire
document bounce up and down about an inch as WORD tries to adjust paragraph
size and placements. It is incredibly annoying to do anything, even
something simple like correct a spelling error. Is there any way to stop
this?

3. When starting any document or exiting any document, I get pop-up error
messages telling me macros are disabled. I re-enabled macros just to get rid
of these annoying messages, but they still are popping up every time. How
can I make them go away?

Thanks for your help

All these symptoms can be pointing to your graphics card driver. Check with
the support site for the graphics and see if they have a new driver that you
can download and install.

If you are using a TFT/LCD monitor, make sure that it is correctly adjusted
and that you are using the correct 'native' resolution for the monitor.
Also, try downloading the ClearTweak utility and adjust the text contrast
using it.

Macros: open Tools, macros, Security and reduced the level to Medium: also
you have to check the 'Trust all add-ins and macros installed' option.
