Default installing Microsoft equation Editor into Word XP?

How do you install Equation Editor? My cousin is a Math teacher and would
like to use Equation Editor to make up quizzes and exams (He already had
Word XP installed). He is using Windows 98 SE...

In Start Settings Control Panel Add/Remove Programs, choose Microsoft
Office XP and click the Change button. Leave "Add or remove features"
selected and click Next. Check the box for "advanced customization" and
click Next. Expand the Office Tools item in the tree. Click Equation Editor
and select "Run from my computer". Click the Update Now button. You'll
probably need the installation CD to copy files from.
