Unable to install Equation Editor
I've followed the instructions below to install Equation Editor, but when I
open Word, and Insert Object, the Equation Editor still is not a choice. Equation Editor is included on your Office 2003 CD, but it is not installed by default. You can add the feature to your installation by inserting the CD and clicking on Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office 2003 | Change | Add/Remove Features. You'll find Equation Editor in the "Office Tools" category. I'm running XP and Office Professional (don't know if it makes a difference, but I bought a Student License version from my school) Any suggestions? I never even get prompted to insert the Office CD. I tried running Setup.exe directly from the installation CD, but no change. After I follow the instructions above, it says that it has updated successfully. Thanks for any help! |
