Default Red line is gone under the word I miss spelled

Can you please help me make the red line come back in my emails when I mis
spell a word. It is gone and it really saved time instead of using spell
check all the time.

Thanks

Assuming you have "Check spelling as you type" checked on the Spelling &
Grammar tab of Tools | Options, make sure that the language applied to the
text is English. Tools | Language | Set Language. Confirm the language
setting and make sure that "Do not check spelling and grammar" is not
checked.
