Default How can I create a mail merge document that uses half pages?

I am a teacher who would like to create a parent contact form for student
behavior. I want to be able to save paper by printing the form on half
sheets. In other words, Student A's report would print on the top of page
one, Student B's report would print on the bottom of page one, student C's
report prints on the top of page 2, etc. Is this possible? Thanks in
advance for your help!

Use a label type mailmerge and select an appropriate label (2 to a page) in
which to create the mailmerge main document.
