Thanks JoAnn, yes that's another option, the problem is trying to get them to do that sort of thing. We can only try eh? -- Regards Joe Tasmania "JoAnn Paules" wrote in message ... Use a .pdf file instead. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Joe" wrote in message ... Thanks Gordon, I have to agree with you about a newsletter being sent in that format. Apparently it is a new group and the author has a MAC so thinks everyone else has the same. I have advised her to contact the author and suggest that they reopen the file and in Save As it be saved as a Word Document. I don't know if I can give any better advice. -- Regards Joe Tasmania "Gordon" wrote in message ... "Joe" wrote in message ... One of our Senior Club members here has a Windows XP Computer with Office 2003 installed. She has received a newsletter composed as a .cwk file and we are unable to find a way to open it. That's ClarisWorks. You'll need to get the sender to send it in some other format unless you have access to either ClarisWorks or Appleworks... I'm amazed that anyone would send something like a newsletter in such an obscure and obsolete format... |
